 Our Junior Bible Quiz team has qualified to be seeded into the National JBQ Festival in June at Springfield, Illinois. Team members are Joshua Saunders, Caleb Saunders, Joel Saunders, and Melanie Buchmiller.
They are the Southern California district champions and they have just recently placed first at the Southwest Regional competition against the best teams from Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and California. Joshua Saunders just recently proved himself to be the top quizzer in the entire Southwest region.
Our Teen Novice Bible Quiz team is the Southern California district champions in the Novice division and they just recently placed second against the best teams from the Southwest region.
Team members are Zach Mang, Ken White, and Josh Santana.
Zach Mang is the top quizzer in the entire Southwest region.
Our Teen A-Division Bible Quiz team has qualified and has been invited to the Teen Bible Quiz National competition in July at Lexington, Kentucky.
They are the Southern California district second place team and just recently placed fourth against the best teams from the Southwest region. They were actually able to place higher than the Southern California district champions. They have a very difficult task being a 2-man team quizzing against 4-man teams. Quizzers are: Jonathan Barthuly and Colin Kuroishi. Jonathan Barthuly is the top Teen quizzer in the Southwest region.
